Instructions for Use

Intended Use: BleedArrest is an OTC product that is intended for use as a topical dressing for the local management of bleeding wounds such as minor cuts, lacerations and abrasion and minor nosebleeds.

BleedArrest Foam Strips for Nosebleeds:

1. Tear open BleedArrest packet.

2. Insert foam strip into nostril.

3. Apply pressure with index finger for 2 minutes or until bleeding stops.

4. Remove foam strip when bleeding has stopped.

BleedArrest foam strips can be removed from your nose using any process you would normally use to clear your nostril, or can be flushed out using a saline rinse if desired.

BleedArrest Foam Strips for Skin Cuts & Shaving Cuts:

1. Tear open BleedArrest packet.

2. Cut a small portion of BleedArrest foam strip and apply to wound.

3. Apply pressure with index finger for 2 minutes or until bleeding stops.

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 if necessary.

BleedArrest Powder:

1. Tear open BleedArrest packet and twist off applicator cap.

2. Apply powder to bleeding area.

3. Cover with gauze. Apply pressure for 2 minutes.

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 if necessary.

 

Warnings:

  • Sterility not guaranteed if package is damaged or opened. Discard damaged or open packages.
  • If you are not able to stop bleeding with the use of BleedArrest, seek professional healthcare immediately.
  • Do not ingest.
  • Keep away from children.
  • Contains Amylopectin. Foam also contains Hydroxyethylcellulose.
